THIS EVENT IS SOLD OUT
Very rarely is there an opportunity to bring together an extremely innovative and successful chef, paired with one of Arizona’s winemakers. Mix in a group of eager culinary students and have it benefit America’s Veteran students. The planets must be aligning as this will all happen on May 15, 2014.
Arizona Culinary Institute will be hosting a multi-course wine dinner in honor of receiving its Arizona “Veteran Supportive Campus” Certification. To commemorate the event, Chef Kevin Binkley will be instructing ACI students to create and prepare the dishes for the evening. Winemaker Eric Glomski of Page Springs Cellars, will be expertly pairing his wines to complement the food. Members of the Arizona Department of Veteran Services will be in attendance to celebrate our certification.
Arizona Culinary Institute is only the 10th school in the state to receive this certification. All proceeds raised by the event will go toward starting a fund to assist Veteran students achieve their education. Arizona Culinary Institute values every student that walks through our doors, but we also understand that Veteran students face different challenges and it is our privilege to accommodate them as best we can. This event is a perfect example of great people coming together to do something great for people that served their country. ACI student/alumni volunteers will also be assisting in the cooking and serving of the entire meal.
